I think this image would make a good cover for either a book of short-stories or a literary journal. This little church is a favorite of mine in south Arkansas. It hasn’t been used as a place of worship in years and now is just a testament to the effects of Mother Nature. And still, the day I took this photo, someone had visited earlier and placed a bright yellow wreath on the front porch. The wreath is a moving reminder of what this roadside, country church once meant to the community. I’m certain it would be easy to fill a book of short-stories containing memories from places like this.
