Weekly Photo Challenge: Future Tense

The theme for this week’s Weekly Photo Challenge is Future Tense. Here’s the challenge:

We spend so much of our lives thinking back, or looking ahead, and even though a photo captures only one moment in time, with a bit of thought it can freeze the process of moving forward, or the promise of things to come. Your challenge this week is to seal one such moment in amber.

The first image is one I took while on vacation in Kansas City last week. Our family visited the Model Railroad exhibit inside Union Station. It was fun to watch all the trains zip around, but equally fun to watch all the kids, as they watched the trains zip around. These two youngsters seemed  to be unsure that the train would ever come back by them.

We got home to Northwest Arkansas to find the Forsythia in our front yard in full bloom. I couldn’t resist snapping a shot of the intense blooms. Fast forward to today, and it’s snowing! The poor blooms obviously don’t like this weather. Hopefully, warmer weather (Spring?) is actually on the way and these blooms will once again shine.
