The challenge for this week is to share a photo that means “free spirit.” I found two pictures in my photo library that express the idea of “free spirit” to me, but in different ways. Hope you enjoy them!
This first photo is one that I took while on vacation in July in Biloxi. I love watching birds, especially when at the beach. I stood on the balcony of my hotel for several moments fascinated by the slow but deliberate movements of this Great Blue Heron. I loved watching it wade along the edge of the surf, a contemplative free spirit.
The second photo is one that my husband took in our backyard. We’ve been in drought conditions most of the year but recently have had some rain (thank you Issac). This Morning Glory seems to be celebrating its free spirit through an abundance of vibrant blooms!
